Chocolate brownies with TERANA spices
Ingredients
These brownies with a touch of TERANA spices will be the perfect finishing touch to any meal, especially to celebrate love and friendship!
· 200 g of dark chocolate (preferably 70% cocoa)
· 100 g of butter
· 3 eggs
· 150 g of sugar
· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
· 100 g of flour
· 2 teaspoons of TERANA cinnamon
· 1/2 teaspoon TERANA ground allspice
· 1/4 teaspoon TERANA nutmeg
· A pinch of salt
· Chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a square or rectangular baking pan.
2. In a heat-resistant container, melt the chocolate together with the butter in a double boiler or in short intervals in the microwave. Blend until smooth and let cool slightly.
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the eggs and sugar mixture, and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, sift the flour and add the TERANA spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, as well as the salt. Mix these dry ingredients.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, mixing until well combined. If desired, add the chopped walnuts and mix gently.
7. Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and spread it evenly.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly moist.
9. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before cutting into individual portions.
