Ribs in beer
Ingredients
🍺 Do you like beer a lot? Then we invite you to prepare these ribs (if you are not a fan of beer, we are sure you will love them anyway)
+ 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
+ 1 1/2 k. boneless ribs, cut into cubes
+ 3 teaspoons of salt
+ 2 teaspoons TERANA ground black pepper
+ 1 yellow onion cut into cubes
+ 1 red pepper cut into cubes
+ 2 tablespoons of TERANA garlic pieces
+ 3 tablespoons of TERANA Chili Seasoning
+ 2 tablespoons of TERANA ground cumin
+ 1 teaspoon ground TERANA chipotle chili
+ 1 teaspoon of TERANA ground coriander
+ 1 tablespoon of Cirio rustic tomato sauce
+ 1 light beer of your choice
+ 1 tablespoon brown sugar
+ 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
+ 2 cans of Cirio peeled tomato
+ 2 cans of black beans
+ 1 can of beans
+ 1 cup of chicken broth
Preparation
1. Heat a pot with two tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat and season the meat with salt and pepper.
2. Working in batches, brown the meat cubes and transfer them to a plate.
3. Once the meat is removed, add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pot, along with the onion and pepper.
4. Sauté the vegetables, add the garlic and stir.
5. Season with the chili powder, cumin, chipotle, cilantro, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
6. Add the tomato sauce, beer, brown sugar and barbecue sauce. Stir.
7. Next, add the diced beans and tomatoes along with the chicken broth.
8. Add the browned meat and the remaining teaspoon of salt.
9. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot and cook until the meat is tender and falling apart. (Approximately 3 hours).
10. Then, with the help of a fork, mash the meat in the chili.
11. Serve in a container, on French fries, nachos or baked potatoes.
